OT 2nd posting pci ata card ??

Hi all,

This is a second posting because I could really do with some advice. I have a 
raid HDD on hda and hdc, works a treat.

I have a DVDRW on hdb, it works but cripples my system when I use it. I need a 
workaround.

Is it possible to use PCI card to give me a PATA interface that I can plug my 
DVDRW into.

If so how can I find out which ones are compatible with Linux. I have been 
googleing but had found very little info. This must be a common problem for 
RAID users.

Any help greatly appreciated :)
