Anywy,
apt-cache search fglrx-driver produces this for me (it depends on whats
in your apt/sources.list)
xorg-driver-fglrx - Video driver for ATI graphics accelerators
xorg-driver-fglrx-dev - Video driver for ATI graphics accelerators
(devel files)
I'll give this pkg a go...
Is this the right package? Do a
apt-cache search fglrx
and you will get

Try install the first,
sudo apt-get install xserver-xorg-driver-ati
and
sudo apt-get install xorg-driver-fglrx
and maybe some of the linux-restricted modules.
