Greetings,
The method outlined in the ubuntu wiki to install Java
on Ubuntu
(https://wiki.ubuntu.com/RestrictedFormats?action=fullsearch&value=linkto%3A%22RestrictedFormats%22&context=180)
does not seem to work for the J2EE available from SUN.

The following is the output:

manish at manish:~$ fakeroot make-jpkg
j2eesdk-1_4_02_2005Q2-linux.bin
Creating temporary directory:
/tmp/make-jpkg.XXXXFed2vr
Loading plugins: blackdown-j2re.sh blackdown-j2sdk.sh
common.sh
ibm-j2re.sh ibm-j2sdk.sh j2re.sh j2sdk.sh j2se.sh
sun-j2re.sh
sun-j2sdk.sh

No matching plugin was found.
Removing temporary directory: done

and thus i am unable to use dpkg to install the J2EE.

Also when i directly try to run the .bin file the
following error
occurs:
manish at manish:~$ ./j2eesdk-1_4_02_2005Q2-linux.bin
./j2eesdk-1_4_02_2005Q2-linux.bin: error while loading
shared libraries:
libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3: cannot open shared object
file: No such file
or directory

Has anyone successfully installed J2EE? If so could
you please tell me
how?
Help will be greatly appreciated
Regards
