launchpad authentication for wiki access

I want to update the wiki with some of my recent experiences with modern 
hardware so that I can save others some pain and expense in purchasing 
Windows only hardware.  I've gone through the authentication process on 
launch pad but I'm not able to login.  Is there a propagation delay for 
authentication information?  And if so, how long is it?
