Sound problem with AVI & WAV files

Hi,

I've got a problem playing wav files or avi's with sound. I'm using
totem-xine and I rememeber installing all the codecs from the Ubuntu
Guide instructions.

When I play one of these files (AVI or WAV in Totem), the sound starts
to play fine UNTIL I move my mouse (no kidding). Then the audio goes
all crackley. Other audio (mp3, ogg, DVD audio, etc.) works fine, so
I'm wondering if it is a windows codec problem.

I have an NVidia NForce2 motherboard (Asus) with integrated sound. I
tried different settings in Totem Preferences (both "Stereo" and "AC3
Passthrough").

Has anyone else experienced this or know how to fix it?
