Apologies for that - I was making the point that your message wasn't signed.  
I tend to be very weary of binaries that come from unsigned (un-verifiable) 
sources.  That's all :)

Ah - ok.  Breezy back-porting bugs into Hoary huh :P  But yes, I'm running 
Kubuntu Hoary.  FWIW, my AMD64 machine with it's Nvidia card isn't having 
the same problem even though it's running the same kernel and xorg version.

Will give it a go and see where I get to.  Once again, sorry if my earlier
