breezy failing to install

On my laptop which has been running hoary for a while with no trouble - 
I thought I'd try it with the breezy preview. It fails as the 'partition 
disk' stage. Looks like this:

---| [!!] Partition disks |---
          ???  ???

     <Go Back> <Continue>

'Continue' is highlighted. If I press return the screen blinks once at 
speed with:

E: Unimplemented function
E: Unimplemented function
E: Unimplemented function
E: Unimplemented function
E: Unimplemented function
etc...

The longer I have waited since last pressing it the more occurences of 
that line there are.

Anyone want to take this on with me?
