Should I use nVidia's nForce4 platform drivers?

Hi guys,
I've learned through experience that it's better to use the
Ubuntu-supplied packages for the proprietary nVidia video drivers,
rather than using nVidia's installer.
However, what about the platform drivers for the nforce4 chipset?
- Are the nVidia-supplied drivers the best way for me to get the
nforce4's ethernet port working under Breezy?
- Is there some benefit to installing the nVidia-supplied nforce4
driver other than just to get the ethernet working?
- Would installing the nVidia-supplied nforce4 driver mess up my
sound? (My sound seems to work just find, and I don't know what
happens if the system has two drivers that can both bind to the same
sound chip.)
Thanks,
Christian
