Let's try to keep things civil. No, he's not "absolutely wrong." That
came from an unofficial repository that  the guide suggested you add
to your sources.list. It's easy to forget that, once it is there. The
Ubuntu Guide isn't an official document and isn't written by anyone at
Canonical.
