You should open a Terminal and type:
$ sudo modprobe snd-opl3sa2 isapnp=0 dma1=0 dma2=1 port=0x220 irq=9 fm_port=0x330
That command should return a prompt immediately. You'll then need to
log out of and back into GNOME, and sound will work.
