No, I've run a variety of mailing lists and you can have unsubscribe
links with instructions on every email and people will still ask how
to do it and/or get mad if the list admin won't manually remove them
based on the telepathic signals they've been sending him.

If you're under that much stress that you get angry trying to  follow
simple instructions to unsubscribe from a mailing list, you probably
shouldn't be on the mailing list to begin with. When I get first-time
unsubscribe requests that are angry and threatening, I usually not
only make sure they get unsubscribed, but banned from resubscribing as
well. Sheesh.
