FAT32 has that issue, I think. I've previously copied an 18GB file from
Linux to Windows XP NTFS via samba without any problems.
That said, if the debian machine uses woody this may happen, because the
default kernel and libc6 are a bit old now. Sarge should not have that
problem. Then again, that's a debian issue, not a ubuntu one ;-)
