Question regarding upgrade from Hoary to Breezy

I've spent hours and hours using Breezy/Gnome 2.12 and only a few
moments watching the system boot.  So, the splash screen has hardly
been the most noticeable thing for me.  ;)

That said, it is pretty slick...
