[Breezy] cdrom drive

Hi all!
so most of the problems I had during these few days (usb, ipw2200) went away
with new udev, but I still have my cdrom doorlocking problem. Before, my user
could eject the cdrom, witch is handy cause I don't log in as root very often
(thx ubuntu mainainers for such an allmost flawless distro), but now I can't,
and the cdrom drive won't even eject if I push the eject button on it, though
it did a few days ago. I tried cdctl, but nothing. anyone any ideas?
