En: graphic alternative

I've used f-spot for a while, let's say 5 minutes because of constant
crashes everytime I double click on the pict.  I've tried other kde
apps under synaptic, but after installation, they never showed up
anywhere.

If you're looking for an iPhoto replacement, I'm not really sure what
to say --- maybe gphoto? If you're looking for a nice easy way to
manage lots of photos, I'd reccomend running apache and Gallery
http://gallery.menalto.com. It's a very nice program with permissions
and (very) basic photo manipulation.
