I am having exactly the same problems with Quake2 and Alsa, and my comp is a AMD64 3200+ with 1Gb Ram. So hardware is certainly not the problem. Other Games such as Doom3 and UT2004 work perfecly with Alsa. What should we do ? -- vgeddes
