i think that's a good idea
i have two hard drives so i'll set up a temporary dual-boot while i'm
fiddling with ubuntu and getting to know it
then when i'm ready, i'll wipe osx and just have linux
at least that way, i get a good chance to get closer to ubuntu and find
out if its really right for me (which i'm sure it will be)
i always say the best way to learn a computer is to set up an
environment where it doesn't matter if you stuff everything up (as you
can just reinstall) and then just fiddle, see what happens when you
press all the different buttons! :)
