I just upgraded to breezy from Hoary and have similar touchpad problems
with my Toshiba Satellite A10. Previously Hoary had problems with edge
scrolling and other such touchpad functions but other than that
everything worked. Now I neither have edge scrolling, nor can I double
click and drag (i.e. grab the scrollbar and scroll down, or grab a
window) and the mouse is randomly clicking on stuff. Toshibas (at
least some of them) have an ALPS touchpad and not synaptic, supposedly
the new Linux kernels were supposed to support ALPS but it looks like
whatever change was made (at least for me) is causing more problems
than it is solving.
