Vanilla kernel and swsusp2???

I've been trying to compile a 2.6.13.1 kernel with swsusp2 and it's not
playing out very well.  I get errors with swsusp2 saying it can't
recognize the swap partition after it tells me some "Big fat warning"
about a previous hibernation.

I think it would be fine if I could recognize /dev/hda1 and /dev/hda2 at
that point.

I'll keep tinkering, but if anyone has some ideas, please post them....
