Hi,
Laurent Darrambide was nice enough to help me offlist (he had problems
posting to the list). With his help I managed to get the camera working.
[Copying from Larent's mail]
Close gnomemeeting and rmmod -f pwc

then

a) install libpt-plugins-v4l
b) remove pwc.ko from /lib/modules/yourkernel
c) get http://www.saillard.org/linux/pwc/files/pwc-10.0.7a.tar.bz2
d) compile
e) copy pwc.ko to /lib/modules/yourkernel/misc
f) depmod -ae
g) modprobe pwc fps=30
h) restart gnomemeeting
i) in edit, preferences, video devices, choose v4l as video plugin, large
as size
[End of copy]
You also need to install linux-image to be able to compile pwc.ko. While
this isn't exactly plug'n'play it does work for me.

/Søren
