Hi All,
Im just after some feed back and suggestions on whats best to use to
write small, simple visual front end style apps for some shell scripts
ive written for Ubuntu/Kubuntu.
The end result im after is to write a basic 'hello world' type app
that will execute a script if the user click OK and quit if they click
CANCEL so that 'non-commandline' people can easily run my scripts on
the different flavours of ubuntu.
requirements:
- it must be able to run on default install of ubuntu and kubuntu
(so nothing gtk/qt specific).
- ive never made visual apps so some thing easy to learn would be great.
- im sure a everyone will say Python, but what pythonGUI specific
stuff is in both ubuntu and kubuntu(ie.tkinker,pygtk,wx,etc...)?
Cheers
