Hi all,

I can't get my Gravis GamePad to work in Ubuntu 5.04. Here is what I do:

$ modprobe joydev
$ modprobe analog
$ modprobe ns558

$ lsmod | grep 'joydev\|analog\|ns558'
ns558                   5568  0
joydev                  9664  0
analog                 11584  0
gameport                4448  2 ns558,analog

$ jstest /dev/input/js0
Joystick (Analog 2-axis 4-button joystick) has 2 axes and 4 buttons.
Driver version is 2.1.0.
Testing ... (interrupt to exit)
Axes:  0:     0  1:     0 Buttons:  0:off  1:off  2:off  3:off

During the jstest I get no response from pushing the buttons on the
gamepad. Any clues? The above procedure works in Fedora Core 4.
(...and yes, the gamepad is properly connected to the gameport.)

Regards,

August
