The linux-headers and linux-image updates have been
sitting on my desktop for a day now; I haven't wanted
to update because the last time I updated them, I had
to reinstall the ipw2200 drivers.

a) am I going to have to reinstall the radio drivers
   again if I go ahead with the kernel updates?

b) is there something that I can do before I update
   that will avoid the reinstall?
