location of Ubuntu boot partition

I dont believe ubuntu creates a boot partition.
However. if you think it has one, you can always check
by doing
sudo df
This will give you a /boot entry if you have a boot
partition. Otherwise, it is simply a part of the
partition on which ubuntu is installed, thus boot part
= root part in this case
