Comparable programs from Windoze to Ubuntu (Linux)

Konqueror and firefox both do password management. Firefox has a plugin for
automatic form completion, I think.

This is built into your browser -- you shouldn't need anything else. But if
you don't like your browser's bookmark system for some reason, you have the
option of trying another browser, or using some separate bookmark tool; I
think there are a few in the ubuntu repositories (might need to enable
universe or multiverse).
You should take some time to play with the synaptic program, and get to know
what software is available, and how to search for what you need. It's all
there, in one place, nicely indexed. There's rarely any need to get on the
net and track things down, like you might do with windows :)
