external firewire audio card

'alo all,

Just thought i'd try here before venturing to find an answer elsewhere.

I own and 'EDIROL FA-66' Firewire audio card. From what i saw on the 
ALSA website it doesn't seem to be supported (the card has been released 
a couple of months now).

I wanted to know if anyone has a similar card working, or if Firewire 
audio cards are supported at all. Plus any ideas on what can i do on my 
behalf to get it working.
