Lite On DVD Drive

I recently bought a Lite On DVD drive.

It's one of those dual layer drives. However, the problem I'm having
deals with Imation DVD+R media.

My old Nec DVD writer (it died, hence the replacement) would write to
DVD media with no problems. My DVD player hooked to my TV would play the
media just fine. I was using the EXACT same brand and type of media as
above.

I even booted into Windoze and tried the Nero package that comes with
the drive.

It was pretty slick. Nero imported the video, let me design the menus
and converted it to DVD format complete with the VIDEO_TS folder and all
the .ifo .vob and .bup files.

I insert the disk into the computer and my Windows DVD software boots
and it plays just as expected. Or if I'm running Ubuntu, Xine boots and
it plays fine.

But ZI've tried two different home DVD players and they both give a No
Disk error. Both players are supposed to do most formats known to man.

Reading the book that came with my player I see Imation media isn't
recommended media. Could it make that much difference?

Here's the output from dvd+rw-mediainfo for one of the disks created in
this drive:

I would assume by the complete status under "READ DISC INFORMATION:"
that the disk is finalized.

If not, how could I finalize it? BTW, this disk was made with Nero under
WinXP SP2.

Any suggestions?

David
