Samsung A680 / Ubuntu / Help

Hi,

I have a samsung a680 cell phone and a usb data cable.

I'd like to:
a) use it as a modem/internet connection and
b) be able to modify/backup the data that is stored on it.

Does anybody have any experience with this phone?

When I plug it in, the usbserial module gets loaded as well as the
'visor' one; although its not a palm - linux seems to think it is.

It is also detected as as a USB Modem/ISDN Adapter.

I've attached the dmesg output.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks!
