Acer TravelMate 8101 WLMi, help

I Cant get wireless, bluethooth and battery status working. I followed 
this howto" http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=46536 " and only 
got my sound working. Is there anyone with the same kind of  laptop 
who's got all things working? if so please reply how you managed to get 
it up n running. All other experts are more then welcome to give me tips 
in how to get this machine running fine. I dont want to go back to the 
bs-windows.
