Hi Renato

with ubuntu PPC it's easy to do if you have a patition to dedicate to linux

my scenario:

tibook 667 mhz 60Gb HD with the following partitions under OSX
(make with disk utility.app from osx)

50 GB hfs extended  OSX first partition with OSX correcly installed
10 GB hfs extended Linux - empty partition

Now after the osx installation reboot from the ubuntu intall-cd and
choose Manual patition edit, select the "little" 10 GB linux partition
and erase it.

Now select the option to use the free space for ubuntu partition.
Ubuntu will repartition the free space with root and swap and start the
installation.

All procedure is automatic and you can choose to boot with OSX or Linux
in the first stage of boot.
