Idea for gnome wrt 'file' magic and '?' icon in Nautilus

Just a quick thought... what if when I have a file manager view open and
there's some file I don't know what it is called 'core' (I'm a
newgnu...) and I click the '?' icon then that file, I get a dictionary
lookup showing the definition of 'core file' explaining segv, core dump,
etc.?

If the 'file' command magic could be used to index a table for what
definition to look up, maybe that's possible?

Any ideas?

So the first things I'm taught as a newgnu are...?

 1) emacs ?
