According to this page
http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/ProductInformation/0,,30_118_9485_9487%5E9493,00.html,
AMD64 supports SSE/SSE2/SSE3 instructions.

I own a "AMD Athlon 64 3000+ S939 1.8GHz 90nm
<http://www.amdcompare.com/us-en/desktop/details.aspx?opn=ADA3000DAA4BP>"
http://www.amdcompare.com/us-en/desktop/details.aspx?opn=ADA3000DAA4BP.

Is it possible to turn off this message? Or force mplayer to use SSE (or
disable)?

It looks like SSE is for video acceleration. I use mplayer together with
fdmf
http://linuxaudioblog.jawebada.de/software/misc/find-duplicate-music-files-0-0-9n-released.html
to find duplicated music files in my music archive. So, I do not need
SSE for audio processing I guess.

Regards, Thomas
