Hello,
I like to use rosegarden4 but some of the features that are available to
rosegarden4 appear to be missing in the ubuntu (hoary) version, namely
DSSI. I did have a go at compiling it: eg first fluidsynth, dssi,
fluidsynth-dssi, hexter, xsynth-dssi and finally rosegarden. Amazingly
enough it all went smoothly in the compiling department. However I still
can't access the DSSI components, so have wound back to original ubuntu
installation. Obviously I've missed a step because of my inexperience
in compiling things. Would it be possible to have rosegarden in ubuntu
that will have full functionality? Or maybe someone who has this for
themslves before could give me some hints on how to do it?
Shelagh
