mounting --bind

Hi!
I've mounted some folder from my vfat disc onto my home folder with:
mount --bind /mnt/murdoc/me /home/me/docs

..but when I try to delete a file from /home/me/docs nautilus gives me 
the following message:

Error while deleting:
Error "Not on the same file system" while deleting 
"/home/me/docs...p-docs.tar.gz".

Any ideas? Maybe there is a better way than mounting with --bind, but 
when I tried to just linking I had problems in  i.e. oo.org..
