Ubuntu and P6BAT-ME (sound)

Thanks to all for your help.
Actually my problem was completely hardware : there was a jumper on the 
mainboard that disabled the sound chip : I moved it and it works fine 
now. My motherboard was actually a P6BAP-ME.

I hope this can help someone facing the same trouble.
