FAM want to remove *lots* of stuff on breezy machine

Ubuntu forces you to use gamin, despite the performance issues.
Fedora works well with fam substituted for gamin.  Ubuntu just
needs to fix its dependencies so that we can use Ubuntu for
things like mail servers which overwhelm gamin.
