Unable to access the English Ubuntu Forums

I would very much appreciate some help to sort out why I cant access the
Ubuntu Forums. More Specifically its only the English Forums that I am
having a problem with. I have tried using different browsers in both
Gnu/Linux and Windows but always the same result..'operation timed out.'
I have asked on the IRC channel and no one else seemed to be having any
trouble so it would appear it something my end, but since I can access
every other site that I try, including the non English forums I am at a
loss as to where to look. Someone on IRC suggested the router might be
the cause but I dont see how.
