Problem installing Kubuntu.

Debian-installer-version: kubuntu-6.10-install-i386.iso (downloaded 29.10.2005 
from Miror Sweden)
The same Errors with an CD Kubuntu 5.10 from my fraind.

Method: automatic full installation, desktop
Machine: Architecture i386
Processor: AMD Athlon XP 2000+
Memory: 265 MB
Root Device: IDE Seagate ST310232A /dev/hdb
Root Size/partition table: 
   /dev/hdb5  root   2GB
   /dev/hda13   /home   5GB
   /dev/hdb1   swap   1GB

Trying to install German Lenguage/county/keyboard Error: Language support is 
not complet.
Download from internet was not possible. Network was not configured. 
Installation folows until
80 % of packages, then an error that some packages could not been installd:
"The was a problem installing the selected software. One or more packages 
faild to install..."
The Installation terminate with an login to the system without KDE, only a 
shall window.
The same occurs installing English version (except that the language support 
seems to be
complet).
How can I install complete Kubunto with grafical KDE ?
