What part of Gnome auto-mounts CD-ROMs and DVDs? Can it be temporarily
stopped from the command-line, and later restarted?

This may be a bit O.T., but I'm trying to write a Bash script and I'm
not sure how to do part of it.

I just need to have it stop and wait for a keypress (any key).

How do I do this??
