or...

1. Open a terminal window.
2. Type "sudo cp /etc/apt/sources.list /etc/apt/sources.list_backup"
3. Type "wget
http://www.angrykeyboarder.com/linux/ubuntu/sources.list-breezy-default"
4. Type "sudo cp sources.list-breezy.default /etc/apt/sources.list"
5. Type "sudo apt-get update"

After that you should be able to find the programs you were looking for
via Synaptic or otherwise.
