Right, but it I still can't run the install script.  You gave me the
idea though to install sux and run "sudo sux" which did work.  At
least I was able to get into the GUI of the install script.  Still
can't get IDL to install, but that's another question.

I don't have a home page.  I open firefox with a blank page.  I have a
fresh breezy (Kubuntu) install too.
