Ah! - You're cool - the first lspci I've gotten in 36 hours.
Anyone else have the urge to be seen as "cool" by me? (it's a really
great thing to put on your CV - really, true...!)
I'd like to believe what you say about putting the same PCI address as 2
card entries in xorg.conf, but intuitively what would happen if the one
config sends some sort of "clear screen" (or whatever) type instruction
to that address??? Not sure how it works, but gut-feel is: Nope! - but
I'm not dis-ing your thoughts.
Thanks for making the effort - I think I can borrow an FX5200 from a
friend to check it out, but in the meantime, I'm still looking for a
card that will definately work......
