I just don't get it !

All those packages are installed. So are gsfonts and gsfonts-X11 !!!
xlsfonts | grep helvetica return nothing on breezy and return what it 
should on hoary.
If I compare the two machines aliases in folders
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts

there is no difference

In

/etc/X11/fonts/Type1

the aliases for helvetica is there on both machines.

This is crazy !!!

There must be an evidence that I don't see :(
