I've done that - it has a bad habit of removing lib* packages that I really
need (right now, classpath, libdvdcss2, libc6-i686 - admittedly not really
_necessary_ - and, really oddly, xlibs-data).
otoh, you can use aptitude instead of either deborphan & debfoster, and
it'll handle dependencies much better.
