Hi all,
My problem with ndiswrapper disconnecting the usb adapter persists. Now
I have run iwconfig, which throws up something strange:
==========================
arnold at PC-boven:~$ iwconfig
lo no wireless extensions.
Warning: Driver for device wlan0 recommend version 18 of Wireless Extension,
but has been compiled with version 17, therefore some driver features
may not be available...
wlan0 IEEE 802.11g ESSID:"SpeedTouch196CA7"
Mode:Managed Frequency:2.412 GHz Access Point:

Bit Rate:24 Mb/s Tx-Power:32 dBm

Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
Tx excessive retries:9 Invalid misc:178 Missed beacon:0
sit0 no wireless extensions.
==========================
I dont understand how the first message about compiling with the wrong
version can be set traight, and has this anything to do with the
spontaneous disconnect of the usb which has the wireless adapter?
Regards,
Arnold
