Battery status with Hoary on Acer TM 2301LCi

Sorry to disturb you guys once again :)

I've tried "acpi=force" in the menu.lst:

>> kernel		/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.10-5-386 root=/dev/hda6 ro quiet splash
acpi=force

After rebooting "dmesg | grep acpi" is giving me the following output:

>> Kernel command line: root=/dev/hda6 ro quiet splash acpi=force
>> ibm_acpi: ec object not found

Maybe this is of any help for you in helping me solve my problem.

Thank you,
Mathias
