Unable to use USB pendrive.

I am unable to get my USB pendrive to mount on a Breezy machine.

When I pop in the drive TWO Konqueror windows pop up, both telling me :-

	An error occurred while loading media:/sdb1:

	The file or folder media:/sdb1 does not exist.

I have a far from clear understanding on how this 'automount' system is 
supposed to work or what services are called upon in its execution, so I'm 
looking for help, from the ground up, in trying to solve this problem.
