Sound problems Warth Warthog (with Windows XP issue) and fix.

Ok, the problem was fixed.

After running */usr/lib/alsa/modprobe-post-install*, the driver showed
with a *cat /proc/asound/cards*.



After reading some manual pages, I thought I could re-install the
driver by using:

-sudo modprobe --show-depends snd-via82xx | /bin/sh-, but it didn't
work (why?).



After running *modprobe snd-via82xx* it worked again! :)
