breezy to easy - Hauppauge Nova-T DVB-T freeview card

I am trying to get a Nova-T card setup for use with MythTV PVR system. I
have done a fresh install of Breezy final with the card pluged in. It loks
like it should work out of the box (I have included dmsg, lspci etc. at end
of email).

The problem is I cant test it. As breezy was so easy to get working with
this card I did not have to patch the kernal etc. and compile drivers so I
do not have the scan and zcat tools. I have also tried kaffeine but the
config do not list a relevent transmitter (source), ime in exeter and think
the transmitter is Beacom Hill.

Anyone know how I can verify the card is working.

Any ideas?

Ben

PS I have actualy installed mythtv and the scan for channels in grayed out
in the setup.
