Evolution Bug?

type this in your terminal:



    
- find / -name category_personal_16.png

  



it should list you the path where you can find the pictures. copy the
path without the name of the picture you searched for (copy only the
directory-path).



type this in your terminal while replacing the source-path with the
path you copied:



    
- sudo mv [source-path] /usr/share/pixmaps/

- sudo mv /usr/share/pixmaps/[directory-name]
  /usr/share/pixmaps/evolution-data-server-1.2

  



rerun evolution. it should work now.



be careful, tough. you'll need root-password to do this.

alternatively you can (without messing as root in your system) do the
first command listed above (find ...). now you know in which directory
to find the pictures, so you can set every category with one of the
pictures. this is done in the evolution-calendar. doubleclick an
appointment (this should open a menu) --> category, select the category
to edit --> edit, type the path of the picture you would like to use
